Short Stories looks at subjects including zoos, street life, total strangers, being a dog, gipsy communities and Pride events, amongst others.
He says, inspired by Shirley Baker, Martin Parr, Roger Mayne and Elliot Erwitt he set out to take pictures of people, streets and life.
I talk about my documentary sensibility and street photography style including engaging with my subjects and adding a personal element through composition and viewpoint.
Philip lives in Oxford and OCCC are lucky to have him travel so far.
He works more and more on portfolios and finds this far more satisfying. He has gained the highest RPS distinction with his evocative series about caged zoo animals.
