Looking Outside the Frame

'Looking Outside the Frame' emphasises that you should take photographs for yourself and not for anyone else.
An alternative title which someone suggested recently is ‘Making the Ordinary, Extraordinary’ which reflects my love of creating images from unlikely subjects.
The aim of this presentation is to explore different ways of seeing photographs, looking at many different techniques designed to make you stand out from the other photographers around you.
Taking a different approach may not win you prizes, but will result in more diverse and interesting images which will give you greater satisfaction.
